This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Song (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Pocket Song mobile application (iOS and Android) and related services at pocketsong.app.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
- Device identifiers used to apply free/premium generation limits (for example a device-scoped ID sent to our API).
- Generation inputs you choose (mood, genre, language, voice, duration, optional topic).
- Purchase status related to App Store or Google Play subscriptions (product identifiers / premium entitlement signals needed to unlock features).
- Push notification tokens (APNs / FCM) when you allow notifications, so we can alert you when a track is ready.
- Technical logs such as approximate request timing, error codes, and IP-based rate-limit signals on our servers.
- Support messages if you email us (your email address and message content).
Song audio and lyrics generated for you may be stored temporarily on our servers during processing and locally on your device when saved in-app.

4. How we use information
- To generate songs and deliver the app’s core features
- To enforce free-tier and Premium quotas
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and service disruption
- To respond to support requests
- To improve reliability and fix bugs
5. Third-party services
Music generation is processed through our backend and upstream AI music providers acting as processors on our behalf. Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you installed the app. Apple’s and Google’s privacy practices apply to purchase data they process.
6. Data retention
We retain operational data only as long as needed to provide the service, enforce limits, secure the API, and meet legal obligations. Local song history on your device remains until you delete it or remove the app.
7. Your choices
- You can delete generated songs from the in-app history (where available).
- You can uninstall the app to remove local data stored on your device.
- You can manage or cancel Premium in your platform’s subscription settings (iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions).
- You can contact us to request assistance with access or deletion of server-side records tied to your device/support request.
8. Children’s privacy
Pocket Song is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We use HTTPS and access controls on our API. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use the app responsibly.
10. International processing
Our servers and processors may be located in countries different from yours. By using Pocket Song, you understand that information may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards where required.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
